Role Description
The ERP SAP/Oracle Specialist will lead the development and implementation of SAP PO/PI & API solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and standards. This role requires a deep understanding of the latest ERP technologies, accounting and finance processes, and local financial constraints. The Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the latest SAP/Oracle ERP implementation methodologies and technologies.
- Understand accounting and finance processes, along with local financial constraints.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP PO/PI & API solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including business analysts, developers, and project managers—to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, promoting high-quality code and adherence to coding standards.
- Design and develop custom solutions using SAP PO/PI & APIs, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and high-performing.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and guidelines.
- Strong understanding of integration technologies and protocols, such as SOAP, REST, and JSON.
- Experience with SAP systems and modules, including SAP ERP, CRM, and SCM.
- Proficiency in working with databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
Qualification & Skills Required
- At least 5 years of experience with SAP/Oracle ERP finance modules.
- Proficient in AP, GL, AR, Payroll, IFRS rules, project accounting, purchase-to-pay, invoice-to-cash, order-to-cash, and fixed assets.
- Relevant experience as a functional consultant in SAP/Oracle ERP.
- Knowledgeable in various business domains.
- Experience with basic technical areas such as development and configurations.
- Proven track record in SAP/Oracle implementation and support, including handling user queries, providing training, and creating documentation.
- Familiarity with SAP/Oracle implementation methodologies.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance background is must.
- Experience in other functional modules (e.g., Maintenance, Quality Management, Sales CRM, SRM, Project and Contract Management) is a plus.
