Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IFRS Trainer with a strong accounting background and over 8 years of hands-on experience in the field of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The ideal candidate must hold an ACCA qualification and possess the skills to train professionals, impart knowledge, and simplify complex accounting concepts. The IFRS Trainer will design and deliver comprehensive training programs for corporate teams and individuals, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest IFRS standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Training Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging and effective training programs on IFRS standards tailored to diverse audiences, including finance professionals, senior management and accounting teams.
- Course Development: Design curriculum, materials and practical exercises to simplify and enhance the understanding of IFRS principles.
- Mentoring: Provide coaching and mentorship to participants to help them apply IFRS knowledge in practical settings.
- Compliance Updates: Stay current on updates to IFRS regulations and communicate any relevant changes through training modules and courses.
- Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate the progress of participants, provide constructive feedback and assess training effectiveness.
- Customization: Modify training content as required to meet the specific needs of clients or learners from different industries.
- Workshops & Webinars: Organize and conduct workshops, webinars, and refresher sessions on various IFRS topics.
Qualifications
- ACCA qualified with 8+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards and their practical application.
- Proven experience in training, mentoring and curriculum development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simplified manner.
- Strong understanding of accounting software and tools used for IFRS reporting.
- Ability to engage diverse groups of learners and foster an interactive and participative learning environment.
- Organizational and project management skills to handle multiple training programs.
- Prior experience in delivering virtual training sessions is a plus.
