Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Lead AI Engineer to lead our artificial intelligence initiatives, overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of AI models and algorithms. You will be responsible for guiding the AI team, ensuring high-performance systems, and working cross-functionally to integrate AI technologies into business applications. This role requires expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP), as well as strong leadership skills to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- AI Strategy & Leadership: Define AI strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives. Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers
- Model Development & Optimization: Design, train, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models for various business applications, such as predictive analytics, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and recommendation systems.
- Research & Innovation: Stay updated on the latest AI trends and technologies, driving innovation by applying cutting-edge techniques to enhance system performance.
- Collaboration & Integration: Work closely with software development, data engineering, and product teams to integrate AI-driven solutions into applications and workflows.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement continuous performance monitoring and fine-tuning to ensure that AI models maintain high accuracy and efficiency.
- Data Management: Oversee data preparation, including cleaning, transformation, feature engineering, and management of large datasets.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on best practices in AI development, cloud infrastructure, and system scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or related field.
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in AI/ML with 2+ years working on Generative AI models.
- Proven experience leading AI projects and teams.
- Expertise in machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, GANs), and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying AI models in production.
Programming Languages
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages for AI development.
AI Tools & Libraries
- Familiarity with TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and other AI/ML tools.
Additional Skills
- Strong knowledge of big data processing tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Experience with NLP, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with MLOps and deploying AI models at scale.
- Prior work with AI ethics, bias, and explainability.
